Mercedes-Benz offers its Sprinter Passenger Van in two trim levels for 2021, the 1500 followed by the 2500. There are three engines and two transmissions on offer; first in line is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas engine producing 188 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The second choice on offer is a turbo diesel four-cylinder with 161 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque and a seven-speed auto transmission. The third is a turbo diesel six-cylinder producing the same 188 hp as the gas engine, but with 325 lb-ft of torque and the same seven-speed auto as the other diesel model.

Available exterior features include 16-inch alloy wheels, an electrically operated sliding door, and fog lamps with cornering light function. On the inside, all Sprinter Passenger Vans get a rear window defroster, a 12V power outlet, air conditioning, heat insulation for the front compartment, as well as a weight-optimized plastic floor, and illuminated front exits. The 2500 trim van adds a four-seater bench in the rear, and a three-seater bench in the front and middle, as well as a fuel-fired heater booster. Optional extras include a phone charging pad in the front, a color display instrument cluster, and a leather steering wheel. Available safety equipment on offer includes optional blind-spot and attention assist, active brake, and lane keep assist as well as optional intelligent navigation and traffic assist.
